On Friday we joined a charity walk in support of Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community, two outstanding charities that bring communities together, all put together through Cura Accounting
Our journey took us across the stunning Holcombe Moors, where breathtaking views set the scene for a relaxed and uplifting walk. Conversations flowed easily as we made our way along the route, with plenty of time for both meaningful chats and quiet moments to soak in the scenery. It was the perfect reminder of why Netwalks are such a special way to connect with others while supporting a worthwhile cause.
After the walk, we made our way to the Holcombe Tap for a well-deserved lunch. The food was excellent, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere gave everyone a chance to unwind and enjoy each otherโs company.
We then continued on to the Hare and Hounds for the raffle and a refreshing drink. With a great selection of prizes and lots of enthusiasm, the raffle was a real highlightโand every penny raised went straight to Bury Hospice and Burnley FC in the Community.
All in all, it was a brilliant Friday filled with community spirit, beautiful surroundings, good food, and even better company. Most importantly, we were able to raise both funds and awareness for two causes that truly make a difference.
