Ahead of Fiji’s visit to Rochdale’s Crown Oil Arena this October, we’re proud to give a local school the opportunity to attend the game as part of Rochdale Hornets‘ A Day to Remember Experience.
The teams are set to clash on Friday 15th October in a warm-up game ahead of the Rugby League World Cup 2021 which kicks off just eight days later.
The A Day to Remember Experience from Rochdale Hornets is an initiative to give local businesses the opportunity to connect with schools and community groups in the region. After committing to providing a local Rochdale school with 50 tickets for the clash through the initiative, Director at Recruitment Solutions, Gavin Reynolds, thought the opportunity and cause was something that was too good to miss:
“The forthcoming England V Fiji international fixture is a major event for the town. The sport of rugby league is something that’s very close to our heart, so it’s great to be able to support young people in the community by giving them access to the sport, as well as assisting with an opportunity to attend what’s sure to be a memorable event for all”
The game also forms part of Rochdale Hornets’ 150th anniversary celebrations.
